I had the opportunity this weekend to speak to a gathering of over 200 people at the Causeway Bay Hotel in Lansing, MI. I spoke about my personal story and struggle with coming back from a spinal injury. How it was the encouragement of not only my wife and family, but others I had not even met that kept me going forward, even when I wanted to quit! It was these people who had significance in my life!
It is the struggles that we have that make us the people that we are. In most circumstances, there are people who enter our lives that help us move in the direction to overcome.
I made the decision to pay it forward 2 years ago when I became a Team Beachbody Coach. During these past two years I have had to overcome again, and that is OK. Team Beachbody is a Network Marketing company that is a subsidiary of Beachbody, LLC in Santa Monica, CA. Network Marketing has gotten some bad press over the years due to some individuals that are involved in it being “Icky”.
Carl Daikeler, founder, Chairman and CEO of Beachbody has made it his personal mission to have Team Beachbody reverse that. You see, Team Beachbody is not just a company selling useless products or everyday items you can get at your local supermarket. Team Beachbody sells products that are helping people live healthier lives! In addition, the Team Beachbody Coaching Opportunity is helping people change their financial lives on a daily basis.
Neither of these would be possible without a Coach that took a personal interest in your success. The most successful coaches have significance in the life of their team members. Whether it be as the voice in their head asking if they worked out, or working with them to be the greatest they can be!
Team Beachbody is not about sales! Do we sell product? Yes, we do! But that is NOT what we are about. We are about taking an interest in someone! We are about helping them reach THEIR goals, chase THEIR dreams, be THEIR best! We are about being significant in the lives of others! If that is

That pretty much sums all of this up for me! It’s not about the sales. It’s not about the size of my team. It’s all about the SIGNIFICANCE I can have in someone’s life!
